Travel to Wellington, New Zealand.

Wellington City Review:
 Wellington, New Zealand

Wellington is the capital of New Zealand and located at the bottom of the North Island. Known as the “Windy City” or “Windy Wellington” due to the strong southerly’s.

This city review will outline a few of the activities worth doing if you’re travelling to Wellington, although I’ve not lived there for 7+ years I still regularly travel home and I spent one month in Wellington during the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Getting around the city is easy enough on foot and public transport is reliable.

Things to do and see:
Te Papa is a tribute to all that is New Zealand, arts and culture. The museum holds the largest squid ever caught (preserved in a large tank) there’s permanent exhibitions about the natural environment and stories of New Zealand's indigenous people, the Māori. Entry is FREE but you may have to pay for the short-term exhibitions on display. Click on the following link for more information. http://www.tepapa.govt.nz
